Carmelo Pampillonio is an audio engineer and composer currently based in Asheville, NC.
His background is in post-production, with years of experience working with films, documentaries, podcasts, museum media, audio installations, and commercials.
Selected past clients include iHeartRadio, Freethink Media, Make Noise, Studio Tomás Saraceno, Palais de Tokyo, Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center, Waters Film LTD, the Venice Biennale, David Bruckner & Ben Lovett, Chris Bower, SB Gamble, and the Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute.
He has also held composer residencies at Wave Farm (NY), Pioneer Works (NY), and Elektronmusikstudion (Stockholm, SE), and has received grant support from the Foundation of Contemporary Arts and the Goethe-Institut Berlin for his work.
